Hello, my name is Jack, I am 30 years old and as of Jan 22 2019 I work in law enforcement but lets go back a little further.

In 2006 I joined the United States Marine Corps as an 0311, infantry riflemen. During my 10 year stent with that great organization I had the luxury of making 5 trips over seas to both Iraq and Afghanistan in my very short first 7 years. Places like Ramadi, Musa Quala and Sangin is truly where I grew up. After my 5th ride on the merry-go-round I was all out of quarters and needed to find a new hobby because the op tempo was slowing down drastically in 2013.

I spent my last few years as a Combat Instructor at the School Of Infantry East. I was not excited to leave the fleet Marine force but the new job did grow on me after a little while. While at SOI I found a new hobby that made me almost as happy as being over seas, teaching, making someone better than they were yeaterday. By this point in my career I was a SGT of almost 5 years. Teaching was nothing new, I had always taught new Marines, I was lucky enough to have been a squad leader on 4 of the 5 trips, But now I wasnt just teaching my guys I was teaching the entire Marine Corps guys. 13,000 of them or so over almost 3 years.

I parted ways with the Marines in 2016, half way through one career I started anther one in law enforcement. I live and work in South Carolina, we will see where this one takes me.
